Equipment

  • 1 Cutting Board

  • 1 Salad Bowl
  • 1 Salad Tongs or Forks

Ingredients
  

  • 1 romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup yellow cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 small cucumbers chopped
  • 1 cup carrots chopped
  • 1 tsp chives chopped
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the chopped vegetables in a large bowl. Gently toss to mix them.
  • Prepare the dressing: combine the cider vinegar, olive oil, dijon mustard, and lemon in a jar. Shake it well .
  • Pour dressing over the salad and toss well. 

Notes

  • Dry your greens thoroughly. Wet greens will make your salad soggy.
  • Consistent sized pieces ensure everyone gets a bite of everything.
  • Dress just before serving to prevent wilting. Consider a light drizzle in the beginning, then adding more to taste.
  • Let cold ingredients like cucumbers and tomatoes come to room temperature for a tastier experience.
