Preheat your air fryer: Set the temperature to 350°F (175°C).
If using thick-cut bacon, cut each slice in half for even cooking. Lay the bacon strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook the bacon for 5-9 minutes for thin-cut, 7-9 minutes for regular-cut, and 10-12 minutes for thick-cut.
Drain the grease (optional): Once cooked, carefully transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease. Discard the grease from the air fryer basket.
Tips:
- Don't overcrowd the basket! This will prevent the bacon from crisping evenly.
- For extra crispy bacon, cook it for a minute or two longer.
- Leftover bacon can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or oven until crispy.
- Be careful when handling hot bacon!
