Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices of bacon chopped
  • 1 small head of cabbage chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice 1 small head of cabbage (about 6 cups) after removing the core.
  • Chop 6 slices of bacon into small pieces.
  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the grease.
  • Add cabbage to the skillet, stirring to coat in bacon grease. Season with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly caramelized.
  • Stir in crispy bacon and cook for another minute.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
