Ingredients For the chicken:
- chicken breasts about 1.5 pound
- Salt for seasoning the chicken about 1/4 teaspoon
- Pepper about 1/4 teaspoon
- Garlic powder for seasoning about 1/2 teaspoon
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 4 slices bacon chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 ounces shredded cheese
- 2 ounces parmesan cheese
Ingredients for cream cheese mixture:
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Prepare the Chicken:
* Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
* Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Sear the Chicken:
* In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter.
* Sear the chicken breasts on both sides for 2-3 minutes each, until golden. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Cream Cheese Mixture:
* In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with onion powder, dried dill, garlic powder, and salt.
Assemble the Casserole:
* Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
