With just a few ingredients, this dish delivers crispy bacon, tender cabbage, and a perfect balance of smoky and savory flavors. It’s an easy, comforting side that pairs well with almost anything—let’s get cooking!

Ingredients:
- 8 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions for Fried Cabbage with Bacon recipe:
- Start by preparing the cabbage. Remove the core, then slice it thinly for a more uniform texture I used a slicer for this step and wore a glove for safety.

- Chop the bacon into small pieces (8 slices of bacon).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Once done, remove it from the pan and set it aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the bacon grease. Season with salt and pepper to taste

- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage becomes tender and lightly caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.

- Add the crispy bacon back to the pan, stir everything together, and cook for another minute.

• Serve warm and enjoy!
