- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (use reduced sodium if preferred)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 teaspoon jarred minced garlic)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 lb medium uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- Optional: chopped green onion for garnish

- Whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger (if using) in a medium bowl. Set aside half for cooking and use the rest to marinate the shrimp.
- Place shrimp in a bowl, pour half the marinade over, and refrigerate for 15 minutes (or up to 8-12 hours).
